James Moles also racially abused a police officer
January 24, 2025 A 37-year-old man has been jailed for 18 weeks and received a 6-year banning order after being convicted of assaulting a steward at Brentford FC and racially abusing a police officer. James Moles is also subject to a 3-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) which was brought through the courts by the Hounslow Antisocial Behaviour Team. The CBO requires Moles to undergo alcohol rehabilitation treatment, surrender anything thought to contain alcohol to a police officer or council enforcement officer on request and not be in possession of any vessel containing alcohol in a public place. He is also banned from any fast-food takeaway in the borough of Hounslow after 9pm and cannot enter any licenced premises in the borough for the purpose of buying or consuming alcohol. He is also forbidden from associating with anyone group of people believed to have been involved in anti-social behaviour and cannot go within 500 metres of any professional sports ground in England and Wales, one hour prior, during or one hour after a professional game is taking place. Brentford FC says it maintains a strict policy against any form of abuse towards its matchday stewards. The club's Acceptable Behaviour Policy emphasizes that while supporting the team, fans must refrain from offensive or abusive conduct. To report any concerns about abuse or discrimination during matchdays, fans are encouraged to approach a matchday steward or text "BFC" followed by their message to 62277, ensuring the operations team is promptly notified.
