Stadium naming rights sold to home appliance manufacturer Gtech
Brentford FC has announced that its home ground is to now be known as the Gtech Community Stadium. The home appliance company, Grey Technology Limited (Gtech), which manufactures household and garden products such as cordless vacuum cleaners and grass trimmers has purchased the naming rights for the former Brentford Community Stadium for the next ten years. The deal represents the largest sponsorship deal in Brentford’s history and the club says it will help to drive further investment into its ambitious plans on and off the field. Gtech was started in a garage by designer and inventor Nick Grey who built the company into an international business which claims to have developed the world’s first cordless power sweeper. He said: “To be associated with Brentford FC is a fantastic opportunity for us. It is a stunning facility here. The club management have achieved incredible things since Matthew bought the club a decade ago. We are delighted to have Brentford playing in the Gtech Community Stadium.
