A woman's cries for help were ignored by passers by as she had her bag snatched in the Tesco car park on Mogden Lane in Isleworth.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 18th April 2006 at about 1430.

The 64 year old lady had put her shopping into the boot of her red Peugeot hatchback and was sitting in the driver's seat. The passenger door was suddenly opened and her handbag was snatched from the seat alongside her. The lady screamed for help but nobody paid any attention to her. The suspect got into the passenger side of a silver vehicle which then drove off.

The suspect was described as a white male, aged about 28 years. Taken was a black leather handbag containing a Samsung mobile phone, credit cards, spectacles and cash, valued at about £300.
