A fundraising concert is to be held in St. Lawrence’s Church, the first live event since its reopening.

On Saturday 19 October, two West End performers will be hosting an evening of 'Musicals and Movies'.

For one night only, they will present songs from hit musicals, including Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, The Greatest Showman and more.

It will be a chance to be one of the first people to step into the Grade II listed St Lawrence's Church since its closure over half a century ago and enjoy a unique candle-lit concert.

All proceeds will be donated to Auditory Verbal UK – a charity helping deaf children learn to listen and speak, optimising their hearing technology.

On the night, there will be drinks from Plonker’s Bar and be in with a chance of winning prizes from The Brentford Project’s retailers and restaurants at a charity raffle. Prizes include a hamper and rug from Mother Rugger, a voucher for two to visit Everyman Cinema and an overnight stay at The Brentford Project.

General admission is £27.80 which includes access to the venue and a welcome drink on arrival. A VIP ticket at £33.22 gives you exclusive access to The Brentford Project Sales Gallery for a private drinks reception from 5pm, where you can enjoy complimentary drinks and canapes, and hear the latest updates on the development from the Sales team.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
