July 12, 2024 The Hounslow Heritage Guides continue their 30th season of local history walks with a walk to commemorate the centenary of the purchase of Boston Manor Park by Brentford Borough Council with help from Middlesex County Council. The walk will proceed from Market Place up the Grand Union Canal to the Park. There will then be an opportunity to explore the part of the House that is now 400 years old and see some of the changes that have been made thanks to a Lottery Grant. Other walks during the summer will be: 11 August - Battles in Brentford All walks cost £3 (children free) except 27 May and 21 September which are free.
