Man subject to control order on run from psychiatric unit
A suspected international terrorist is on the run after escaping through the window of a local hospital. The 25 year old British citizen, who was the subject of a control order, was being treated in the psychiatric unit of the hospital in Isleworth has been at large for two weeks. The Home Office have admitted to his escape along with another similar incident which took place some months ago. A person subject to a control order must obey a curfew and regularly report to the police. They were recently introduced by the Government in the latest raft of anti-terror legislation. The Home Office were not willing to comment further on the specifics of either case. It is believe that the man who escaped from the local hospital appeared at the Old Bailey earlier this year on terror charges. October 17, 2006
