Crackdown on drivers parking on zig zags outside Brentford primary
Police in Brentford have issued a warning that they plan to take action against drivers parking on zig zag lines outside a Brentford primary school. The move comes after parents complained and reported near misses due to bad driving and parking. Police officers spoke to drivers parked in the restricted area this Thursday and Friday telling them not park on them as parking here blocks the view for pedestrians. Drivers cannot wait or stop momentarily to drop off or pick up passengers. The drivers were warned that in future PCNs would be issued. Most of the drivers spoken to were parents at the school and they confirmed that they would adhere to the rules in future. January 5, 2018 |
