Man Charged with Murder in Isleworth

77 year old woman killed on Aylett Road

A 69 year old man from Isleworth has been charged with murder following what is believed to be a domestic dispute.

John Griffin of Aylett Road, Isleworth is accused of the murder of a 77 year old woman who was residing at the same address. The post mortem gave the cause of death as a blunt trauma to the head. Police were called to the scene at 6.53 am on Wednesday (29th August). They found the body of a woman inside the address and a man suffering non-serious neck injuries.

The man was arrested and charged at the scene. He is due to appear at Feltham Magistrates Court today (Thursday 30th August).

Police believe they know the identity of the deceased but are not releasing details until formal identification.
