Join the safety and security team at the new stadium
Brentford FC is trying to recruit more Matchday Stewards to work as part of the safety and security team in its new stadium. Every game this coming season is expected to be at maximum capacity with the team in the Premier League. The club says candidates must be effective communicators with a proven record of working in a customer service environment ideally event or football related. They will support the Matchday Area Managers and Supervisors to prepare for and deliver events at the stadium in a safe and controlled manner. Applicants will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety or similar but training may be provided after a period of proven reliability and competence. They should be able to communicate with spectators, customers and staff at all levels, at all times particularly under hostile and challenging circumstances. All applicants must be available to work weekends and evenings and commit to being available between August and May. They should also be over 18. Payment for the role is described as ‘competitive’. The full job description and specifications can be seen here. Applicants should attach a CV and covering letter here before Friday 9 July.
