On 15th-19th of June, for the first time ever, Chiswick House & Gardens will host  Summer Sessions: an exciting celebration of live music and entertainment, featuring the best in Opera, Pop, Jazz & Family Fun, a magnificent event for the whole family. 

Dust off the picnic blanket, get together with your loved ones and come and enjoy an enchanting evening of summer fun! 

Chiswick House & Gardens will be continuing its long tradition of showcasing world-class operatic performances, with the exclusive opening night of Summer Sessions bringing you Puccini's classic work: Tosca. 

This tragic masterpiece will bring the passion, drama and emotion of Rome to the stunning setting of Chiswick Garden. A firm favourite for Opera enthusiasts and a perfect introduction for those new to the genre, Tosca is the timeless story of love, murder, war and deceit, with a heart-wrenching final scene which will stay with you long after the final curtain.

We are thrilled to announce Tosca 's all-star cast.  Paul Potts, critically acclaimed Tenor and winner of Britain's Got Talent, will be joining the cast as Cavaradossi. A rare opportunity to see the formidable talent who took the nation by storm, in Puccini's most treasured work. Award-winning Tasmanian soprano Jassy Husk (ENO, Syndey Opera House) will take on the iconic title role, and will be joined by Welsh National Opera's  Simon Thorpe  and Opera Scotland's Richard Morris. The incredibly talented 16-year-old Eleanor Grant will be taking the role of Shepherd Boy. 

We are thrilled to announce that on Saturday 18th  June our headline act will be All Saints. With a fourth studio album recently released and a nationwide tour hotly anticipated this autumn, All Saints are back and better than ever! 20 years after they first hit the British Pop scene, the group have reunited in style and we are proud to welcome them onto the open air stage at Chiswick House & Gardens. The full line-up for Music in the Gardens is soon to be announced, so watch this space for more exciting acts!

Summer Sessions will culminate on Sunday June 19th with two exciting events. During the day, the whole family is invited to Chiswick House for our Family Fun Day. Summer is the season for getting outdoors and creating magical memories with your loved ones. And this year, Summer Sessions is on hand with an exciting day of fun and adventure, ideal for families local to Chiswick to celebrate Fathers Day! 

Younger visitors will see favourites such as Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol brought to life in enchanting interactive shows and performances, and will even have the chance to meet iconic superheroes and magical princesses! For older children, there will be a variety of sporting activities and competitions. With music and dancing activities, as well as arts & crafts and face painting, there is truly something for the whole family at this fun-filled day!

As daytime draws to a close, festivities will continue with an exclusive evening of world-class Jazz music as, for one night only, the legendary Ronnie Scott's will take over Chiswick House & Gardens. Direct from their home in the heart of Soho, The Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra will be on hand with an unforgettable evening of swinging tunes and incredible big band performances, featuring an array of extra-special guests.

Chiswick-born Jazz trumpeter Guy Barker will take to the stage with his own unique style, which has seen him perform alongside legends such as Sting and Frank Sinatra. Guest vocalists will include three-time UK Number One Jazz singer Georgie Fame,  British Jazz award winner  Claire Martin OBE and soulful power-house Vanessa Haynes, the acclaimed lead singer for Incognito.

This grand finale of Summer Sessions will be an evening like no other – without doubt the Jazz and Blues event of the summer! 

Where there is summertime, there is surely great food and drink to be found! To accompany all the entertainment at Summer Sessions, we are proud to announce this year's food partner Peyton & Byrne, who will provide a wide choice of treats and cuisines to enjoy.
