This Saturday will see the return of the Summer Series at The Brentford Project, which will bring together a host of local partners for a jam-packed events programme, running from now until September and designed to celebrate the best of west London's arts and cultural scene. First up, head to The Brentford Project this Saturday, 12th June, where RMS Markets will be taking over the blue road to offer up some of west London's finest fares. There'll be an impressive variety of delicious fresh produce, hot food, drinks, plant and flower stalls, terrarium art, and much more. Family-run classic and supercar hub, Duke of London, will also be opening its doors for each Saturday market, showcasing a selection of its vehicles, while on-site bakery, Rye by the Water, will be offering a wide selection of freshly baked treats and outdoor dining on its waterside terrace. The markets will continue throughout the summer on the second Saturday of July and August. Throughout the summer, there's a variety of events, workshops and sessions taking place, including a weekend of interactive outdoor theatre from The Walking Theatre Company – which will transform The Brentford Project's outside spaces into a living, breathing stage showcasing two Shakespeare classics. The Summer Talks will invite a series of inspirational and influential business minds to share their stories, knowledge and insights – including Michelin starred chef and founder of Kaizen House, Elizabeth Haigh; journalist and co-host of popular podcast After Work Drinks, Grace O'Neill, and Victoria Prew, CEO and co-founder of wardrobe rental platform, HURR Collective. In addition, regular classes and workshops include weekend workouts with cult fitness brand House of Voga, a blend of yoga, fashion, Vogue and contemporary dance. For those looking for something a little more relaxing, Glass Gardens London will be leading monthly terrarium art workshops and Mark Pearce wll be lending his expertise for a series of painting classes. All the events within The Summer Series programme will adhere to the Government guidelines in place at the time and will be fully compliant and Covid-19 safe.
