The integration of the two Trusts has provided new opportunities for clinical service developments and enhanced career development and progression opportunities.
Both experienced and newly qualified nurses are welcome to join this event, where they will be able to meet Trust ambassadors to learn about the organisation’s culture, staff development and training. Recruitment was the theme for the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Open Day on Saturday 25 June and the Trust successfully recruited 19 nurses across all specialties and departments. Student Nurse, Roisin Dineen, recently secured a job at Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust once she qualifies, having trained at West Middlesex University Hospital, she said: “For any student or newly qualified nurse the interview process can be quite daunting and overwhelming but it was completely different here. I decided to apply to work here because I knew the job opportunities were plentiful and there are few Trusts that offer so much in terms of job satisfaction, support and career progression.” There will be 40 interview slots available and nurses are encouraged to apply ahead of the event to be selected for an interview in advance, but there will be a number of slots available for those who want to come along on the day.
