New director for Dick Whittington to be performed at Watermans Arts Centre
Dick Whittington is this year's pantomime to be performed by St Faith's Players at Watermans Arts Centre. Casting is already underway, but it’s not too late to take part. Come along to the next rehearsal on Sunday 10th September, 2.15pm – 4.45pm. At the Mission Hall Community Centre, Mission Square, TW8 0SD St Faith's Players has a new Director for this very special 40th anniversary year – Alan Ward – he’s a `Brentford Boy’ who studied dance, drama and film and went on to a professional career in education. He was the Director of the Celebration Theatre Company at St Paul’s and specialises in Musical Theatre. At the Beck Theatre he directed the Heston & Isleworth Gang Shows with over 150 children and adults so he’s used to crowds! There is something for everyone, from chaperoning the younger cast members, set painting and ticket sales to costumes and security, choreography and props, dramatic acting to slapstick comedy! So please come along on the 10th September, with an outstanding, exciting, colourful and professional production with opportunities for everyone to take part. The performances will be at the Watermans Art Centre on Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday 29th November. Rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings Sundays -2:15pm – Mission Hall Community Centre, Mission Square, TW8 0SD *Evening rehearsals are generally for the senior cast members The group is always ready to welcome new members.
