Policing updates on Brentford wards
You Said: There were some youths causing ASB at Netley Road, Brentford
We Did: CCTV was viewed and showed a moped driving on the wrong side of the road. This moped was seized shortly after and taken to a Police Pound. The driver has been processed for court for careless/ inconsiderate driving and no insurance.
You said: There are children in an abandoned building on Baltic Avenue, TW8 making their way to the top.
We did: Found all children involved and informed them of the dangers of being in an abandoned building and the potential of civil trespass offences. The children were polite and understood. We called the security company of the building to improve the security which they agreed to and sent a unit to fix the issues.
You said: I have seen a male stumbling into a Range Rover and I believe he is drunk
We did: Brentford Neighbourhood Police Team located and stopped the vehicle on A315 near Half Acre, TW8. Checks were made on scene and it transpired the driver was disqualified from driving and had no car insurance. He was arrested and taken to Kingston Police Station to be interviewed. His vehicle was seized by Police and taken to a Police Car Pound. He was charged for both offences and remanded for court the next morning.
