There has been no recent meeting due to lack of support from both attendance
and having a chair. The team has spent the last couple of months going through
a number of lists to identified previous members. We currently have nine
members who have confirmed their interest. The team is looking to hold a
meeting towards the end of January 2017.
The current venue is Hounslow Homes office but there have been a few issues
with gaining access. These problems are looking at being addressed.
We have a number of other issues that we are monitoring:
Green Dragon Estate - Boulton House and Netley Road
Reports of drug, ASB in the block and around the benches at the rear of the
block. A number of persons have been stopped resulting in some arrests.
Working with the council the benches have been removed, patrols to continue.
Sainsbury’s - GWQ
The team have been targeting regular shoplifters and working closely with the
store. The team have taken positive action with all offences, the store has
provided CCTV. This direct approach has resulted in various custodial
sentences.
Coates Walk
Rough sleepers in the block. Team are trying to identify the individuals.
Cornish House (NEW)
Believed vulnerable adult believed being target by groups of youths.

Meeting is held in the community centre in TECK CLOSE. Regularly get around
eight persons, at least one representative from the councillors. A new
member has been recruited from Brentford Lock area. A representative has now
been identified from West Middlesex Hospital, Hounslow Homes who hopefully
will attend the next meeting. 19 members shown as confirmed.
We have a number of other issues that we are monitoring:
Charlton House / Albany Parade
There continues to be reports of ASB (anti-social behaviour) around the benches
at Albany Parade and drug use in the bin and storage areas of Charlton House.
Morrisons
There has become a hot spot of activity with a sharp increase in offences,
particularly theft persons. The team have been carrying out plain clothes patrols
and working with management at Morrison’s to identify CCTV images of the
suspects.
Vehicle crime - Brent Way
Offences are occurring on match days, team have been patrolling in plain clothes
and high visibility recently carried out a plain clothes, and high visibility operation.
Results so far one man arrested for various offences and remains on police
bail.
Syon Park
Still receiving complaints of ASB by mopeds in Syon Park and surrounding
streets. The team have been carrying out high visibility stops to combat two
wheel enabled crime.
