For kind assistance offered after a fall
Rosemary E. Winhall sent us the following letter to say thank you to those who came to her assistance: I am an 86 years old widow and on Friday 20th September 2019 when walking home with a loaded shopping trolley I fell on the pavement opposite the Barber just below the old Fire Station building in Brentford Hight Street cutting my mouth and face, and smashing and breaking my front teeth. Within a few minutes a lorry/truck pulled up on the road, possibly a Municipal vehicle, and a Gentle Giant wearing a Gilet came over and despite my protests that I was very heavy - promptly lifted me up 'like a feather' and left, leaving me with a young woman, either Nicky or Vicky who was a Trainee Nurse and with another gentleman also a Nurse, I think Tony,- who together transported me the remainder of my way home. All asked whether I would like an Ambulance to be called which I declined, feeling I was perfectly able to deal with my injuries myself - which I was! I would be so grateful if this letter could be printed in your newsletter in order that my Thanks be conveyed to these very Public Spirited People who came to my aid.
