The quickest way to report fly-tips on land that is publicly owned and maintained by the London Borough of Hounslow is through the Contact form on the Hounslow Highways website http://www.hounslowhighways.org/38-contact.html.

Enquiries reported through this method are triaged and allocated 24/7, 365 days a year. Hounslow Highways will collect a fly-tip within 24 hours of receiving a report, providing the following:-

-          A clear, precise location is provided
-          A description of the fly-tipped contents is included
-          The fly-tip is on land that Hounslow Highways maintain on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow
-          The area does not present a danger to the operatives
-          Access to the fly-tip is not restricted
-          No other restrictions are present preventing the crew from being able to remove it

Please note any fly-tips reported to Hounslow Highways via Twitter are only dealt with during office hours – Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.

If the rubbish is on private land or not on Hounslow Highways’ cleansing network, it is passed back to the London Borough of Hounslow to see if any notices can be issued or enforcement carried out.

If the fly-tip is part of Hounslow Highways responsibilities, but there are restrictions in place, they work with the London Borough of Hounslow to get it cleared as soon as possible, provided there is no danger to the operatives carrying out the work.

Oil spills should also be reported to the same form.
