Bel Dillon competes in Acrobatic Gymnastics Pan American Championships
Bel Dillion, a 13 year old student from Brentford School for Girls, is representing Great Britain in the Acrobatic Gymnastics Pan American Championships in Mexico. This high profile competition takes place this week in Monterrey, Mexico. With two days of solid training and three days of serious competition, the focus for Bel and her team will be on securing a place in the final and ultimately a medal! Bel's team will once again come face to face with their main rivals from Canada who they competed against in Belgium. With upgraded, demanding moves and new explosive routines there is real potential for Bels’ team to achieve the high scores needed to be successful at this stage. Bel is representing Great Britain for the first time and is excited and proud to receive the official GB kit, carrying the British flag on her leotard. The competition is an incredible experience that will help prepare her and her team for the World Championship trials that take place January 2020. Incredibly proud of Bel’s drive and determination, Brentford School for Girls will be rooting for her and her team during this Championship competition. Best of luck Bel! November 22, 2019 |
