This epic film, based on the book by H G Wells, was made in Worton Hall film studios, Isleworth, in 1936, produced by Alexander Korda and directed by William Cameron Menzies.

It sarts Raymond MAssey, Ralph Richardson, Cedric Kardwicke, Pearl Argyle and Margaretta Scott.

Ed Harris, local author, will introduce the film and explain some of ground breaking special effects used. Tickets £10 (including food), starting at 8pm on Saturday 17th September.
