A boatload of watery fun over the summer months
From July 20th- September 1st, the London Museum of Water & Steam will be cooling off Brentford with a host of watery delights. Visitors will be able to:
Play: paddle in the Museum's paddling pools, get soggy in the splash zone, water plants in our garden, investigate with our discovery box, dress up as a Victorian engine driver, ride the Railway every Wednesday and weekend.
Create: help us craft our very own river Thames, make a boat to float and take home, draw with chalk and paint with water in our Courtyard.
Explore: find all the boats in the Boats of the World trail, follow the splash cat trail, see giant pumping engines, have a go at pumping water on the Museum's interactives, join in with Storytelling every weekday at 11am. What’s more, kids go free all summer!
