Have your say about plans for sustainable health services
NHS Hounslow Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting people to its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 19th July 2016 from 11.15am to 2.45pm at the Lampton Park Conference Centre, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4D.
The CCG is responsible for planning and funding healthcare services across Hounslow as well as children, maternity and community health services.
The AGM is an opportunity for local people to find out how the NHS has performed in the past year and how it plans to meet the needs of local communities in the future. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask the CCG’s Governing Body questions in a question and answer session as well as talking to local healthcare providers at our Market Healthcare stalls.
Nicola Burbidge, Chair for NHS Hounslow CCG said: “The NHS is facing some tough challenges ahead and we know people have concerns about this. Our AGM is an opportunity to discuss these challenges and find out more about our plans to tackle them, reducing health inequalities and building a sustainable, local health service that will serve Hounslow well into the future.
“There will be a chance to reflect back on our successes over the years, including some of the innovative schemes being delivered by our local providers to tackle obesity, support children’s mental health, tackle alcohol dependency, and increase bowel cancer screening among others.
“The work that we do affects local people and we want to give them, whatever their age, every opportunity to shape the way we make our decisions.
