Programme at St Mary's Church, Isleworth includes Mozart, Dvorak and Mendelssohn

This year's summer concert from the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra (HSO) takes place at 7.30pm on Saturday 9 July at St Mary’s Church, Osterley Road, Isleworth.
The programme is as follows:
Mozart: Don Giovanni overture
Bruch: Violin concerto No 1
Soloist: Gonzalo Acosta
Mendelssohn: Overture ‘The Fair Melusine’
Dvorak : Czech suite.
Tickets cost £11 plus booking fee or £8 plus booking fee when purchased in advance online or £14/£10 when paid for at the door (contactless or card payment preferred).
Parking is free in side streets near the venue.
HSO says it aims to be the friendliest orchestra in London. It is an amateur orchestra of around 55 players which plays three concerts each season, usually at St Mary’s Church, Osterley Road, Isleworth TW7 4PW and St Paul’s Church, 56 Grove Park Road, Chiswick, W4 3SB. It concentrates on the standard classical and romantic repertoire and from time to time perform contemporary works.
The conductor and music director is Olsi Qinami, who has conducted major orchestras in London, Italy and Albania. The orchestra leader, Nicola Garty, has performed professionally all over the world. The chair of the committee is Geoff Pinney.
