To get into work or start a new career path
Unemployed residents in the borough aged over 16 are being offered access to all the help and support they need, to get back into work or to start a new career in a Hounslow Council push on providing impartial advice and guidance to boost employment. The series of events organised by the Council’s Family First and Intensive Support Service is offering:
A session will take place in Brentford at Brentford Football Club, Griffin Park, Braemar Road, on Wednesday 18 Oct, 11am – 1pm.
Advisors from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), Adults Skills and Learning, Job Centre Plus and the Citizens Trust (Family Works), will also be on hand to offer careers advice, routes into adult learning opportunities and employment. The Council’s Early Years team will be on hand to provide advice on child care vouchers for working parents. Other sessions residents can attend are: The Hub Community Centre, 103 Salisbury Road, Hounslow TW4 7NW - Monday 16 Oct, 11am – 1pm Hounslow Youth Centre, Kingsley Road, Hounslow TW3 1NX - Tuesday 17 Oct, 11am – 1pm
