Walk the Flight Path with BASHR3

Campaign walk along Heathrow's Runway 3 flightpath

Join local residents from Brentford and Hounslow Stop Heathrow Expansion this Saturday 8th and ‘Walk the Flight Path’ that will cut across Brentford if the proposed 3rd runway goes ahead.

The protest is designed to highlight how many residents will be hit by the plans for Heathrow expansion. Campaigners will gather at Fountain Leisure Centre in Brentford at 11am on Saturday, 8th April, and walk to Boston Manor Park.

BASHR3 will be demonstrating just how noisy Brentford will be if Runway 3 goes ahead, as flights will approach the runway over the centre of Brentford most of the time and fundamentally change our quality of life. Heathrow expansion means hundreds of thousands of people not currently under a flight path will have planes directly overhead.

The walk will start on the steps of Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre at 11am finishing at Boston Manor Park cafe. The walk will take less than an hour.
