Police appeal for witnesses to come forward
Detectives in Hounslow are appealing for information following the robbery of a woman by three hooded suspects.
On Friday, 15 May between 09:00hrs and 09:30hrs the 67-year-old victim was waiting at a bus stop in Lampton Road when she was approached by three suspects.
One said to her he had a knife and then demanded her money. He started to pull her handbag whilst the other two suspects tugged the gold necklace she was wearing.
After taking the necklace from her, the three ran off towards A4 Great West Road. They then turned westbound towards Heathrow.
The victim believes that the suspects were all aged about 13 and dressed in dark waterproof type jackets with the hoods up and dark trousers.
The victim suffered reddening to her neck and pain to the right shoulder. She was also left shaken and upset.
There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a group of three people either in Lampton Road or the surrounding area between 09:00hrs and 09:30hrs on Friday, 15 May.
