A 34-year-old woman from Brentford has been jailed for two years after being caught shoplifting.

Rasa Truncate of Carville Crescent was arrested by the Hounslow Central police team after stealing from businesses on Hounslow High Street. It is understood she was a prolific shoplifter.

She was found guilty of three counts of theft shoplifting at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Friday, 15 July.

The police in the borough have said that generally most shoplifting involves the theft of alcohol. They will distribute images from shop CCTV is the value of goods stolen is over £50 and are actively engaging with store managers to collect evidence against persistent offenders.
