A man has died in Isleworth after being stabbed in Isleworth on Sunday afternoon (10 April). A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Emergency services were called to Summerwood Road on the Ivybridge Estate at around 4pm. They found a man suffering knife wounds but despite the efforts of paramedics and the arrival of an Air Ambulance the victim, a 28-year-old man named locally as Sahil Roy, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Evening Standard is reporting a local resident as saying that the man was knocked over during an argument and ‘then had his throat slit.’ They quote neighbours as saying the stabbing was the result of a petty dispute over a small amount of money.

Over twenty police officers in riot gear and with police dogs were seen going into Haweswater House.

Summerwood Road was shut at the junction of Mogden Lane at the time of the incident.

The victim’s next of kind have been informed but he has yet to be formally identified.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) are investigating.

Anyone with information that may assist the investigation should call the incident room on 020 8721 4005. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
