Grand Union Canal Towpath Death 'Not Suspicious'

Body of 44-year-old man was discovered by Gallows Bridge in Brentford

The body of a man has been discovered near Gallows Bridge in Brentford.

The bridge over the Grand Union Canal was sealed off early on Tuesday morning (15 March) after police and London Ambulance Service were called at 6.30am.

Paramedics pronounced the 44-year-old man dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and after a special special post mortem examination that took place on Wednesday, 16 March police now say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
