Grand Opening as Cathja Expands to Brentford | ||||
Isleworth charity opens new centre in former Motorwise
If you've ever walked down the riverside at Isleworth you will have noticed a 38m barge named Cathja. Cathja forms the home for a small charity that offers space for people with mental health problems to explore their creative side in a safe environment, with tools, machines and guidance for woodwork as well as other materials. The Isleworth charity is now expanding into Brentford and is opening its new shop in the former Motorise premises this Wednesday 10th February at midday. The charity patron Lord Rea of Eskdale will officially open the new shop and Leader for Communities Councillor Sue Sampson, who hasgiven our charity great support over the years, is due to present the "big" cheque from money raised for Cathja at last year's Church Street Party. Please drop in, find out what has been done to 129 High Street Brentford, talk to us about our plans for the shop. Meet Hannah of London Sustainability Exchange and tell her things you'd like to learn.
