Brentford business to deliver Christmas joy to local children’s charity
Rudridge in Brentford will be raising funds and purchasing Christmas presents to deliver to local children’s charity Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice in Hampton. During November the team at the civil engineering and groundwork material specialists, located on Transport Avenue, will be donating a percentage of their month’s takings to buy a range of gifts including CDs, sports equipment and toys to deliver to the children at Shooting Star Chase. Shooting Star Chase provide expert care for babies as well as young people up to the age of 21 by supporting the families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement. The charity provide the support free of charge 365 days a year and provide a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. Sylvia La Porte, Corporate Relationship Manager at Shooting Star Chase, commented “We’re thrilled that Rudridge has chosen to support Shooting Star Chase over Christmas. We rely heavily on the generosity of local support. The money raised by Rudridge will help provide care for children with life limiting conditions and their families.” Anthony Betteridge, Branch Manager at Rudridge Brentford added: “Shooting Star Chase is a fantastic charity that provides amazing support and care.
