Future of the Brewery Tap Uncertain |

Ceased trading at the end of August with no future plans
Commenting on The Brewery Tap in Brentford, a spokesperson for Fuller, Smith & Turner said: “The situation at The Brewery Tap is now untenable – the current tenant feels the pub is unviable and we understand why he has decided to cease trading. The works in the area make the pub practically inaccessible and are causing physical issues with the site too, which we are working on resolving. “We hope we can safeguard the future of The Brewery Tap, but we can’t make commercial decisions for the long term until we have more clarity on when the development works will be completed. We have worked with Ballymore elsewhere and we are in regular communication, but in the immediate future it looks like there will be a period – which we hope will be short – when the pub is closed. “We are trying to find a suitable partner to help us reopen it as soon as possible and, in the meantime, we hope The Brewery Tap’s regulars will support our other local pubs – The Beehive and The Six Bells – both of which are also suffering from the current restricted access to that part of Brentford.”
