Eastbourne Road Alleyway Goes Green with AQB

Thanks for donations, gardeners and anyone who waters the plants!

Eastbourne Road alleyway revived

Some residents from Eastbourne Road, north of the M4 flyover in Brentford, had asked Air Quality Brentford (AQB) if a planting project could be done along the pedestrian alleyway to the A4. Coincidentally AQB had also been offered some wooden containers from a local garden. Hounslow Highways gave us permission to place these containers along the alleyway, and the existing plants were boosted with some more greenery, and lots of tulip and narcissi bulbs for Spring next year.

Thanks so much to Mark for donating the containers in the first place and to Cultivate London‘s very kind efforts to move them to the location. Huge thanks also to everyone who came out to help with the project on Saturday morning. Hopefully the residents of Eastbourne Road and neighbouring roads to water and look after these containers and help #MakeBrentfordGreener.

All are welcome to join in AQB's second AGM on Monday 18th November at 7.30pm. There wil an opportunity to look back at projects over the past year and look forward to the next. The next planting project will be at Brentford Market Square in the next few months/perhaps Springtime.
